    Stuff For Students

Our annual Stuff for Students school supply drive is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13! Please join us from 7 a.m. to noon in front of the Walmart store at Stapleton (7800 Smith Road, Denver, CO 80207-1719).

With the increased numbers of Colorado children living in poverty, many families can not afford to purchase school supplies. We need your help to collect school supplies. All supplies will be collected and distributed by Volunteers of America to more than 15 area school districts.

In addition to the one day drive; look for the blue barrels at Walmart stores along the Front Range, from Aug. 6 to 21, to drop off school supplies.

Cash and check donations will be accepted and used to purchase additional supplies. Checks can be made out to Stuff for Students and mailed to Stuff for Students, 9NEWS, 500 Speer Blvd. Denver, CO 80203.

The average cost of supplies for one student totals more than $75. All school supply donations are welcome.
